Construction Updates
23rd October 2023 to 17th November 2023
In order to facilitate the installation of an underpass on the N62 road as part of the development of Derrinlough Wind Farm, a 200m section of this road will be temporarily closed for essential road development works from Monday 23rd October 2023 for a period of 4 weeks, until Friday 17th November 2023.
During this closure, local traffic will be detoured and will be signed accordingly. We ask that you please follow the detour signage that will be installed. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during these essential works.

The key construction activities on the project over the coming months will include the construction of the wind farm
access tracks and drainage network, crane hardstand construction
and foundation excavations and the construction of the substation
building and equipment foundations plinths.
Pre-construction works have been completed for the Derrinlough Wind Farm.
Commencement of Pre-construction works have begun for the Derrinlough Wind Farm and a traffic management plan has been put in place.

Derrinlough Wind Farm intends to commence pre-construction enabling works. These works will include the opening of the site construction entrance and preparation of the site. A traffic management plan will be implemented to ensure, as far as possible, that local people are not inconvenienced during this period.
