The development of Derrinlough Wind Farm involves an investment by BnM of over €150m in low carbon electricity generation infrastructure in Co. Offaly.  The project will make a significant contribution to the achievement of Ireland’s 80% renewable electricity target by 2030.

We are committed to leading the change to more sustainable use of resources in BnM. Wind energy is one of the solutions we are developing to create this change.  BnM’s interest in bringing forward the Derrinlough Wind Farm is a result of the company’s transition to becoming a major supplier of renewable energy.  A key objective of this strategy involves using the land to continue to underpin Ireland’s energy independence by developing green, sustainable energy sources.
